Swine Flu, threat or overreaction?

With the swine Flu traveling around the world at a rapid rate, everyone is fearful of this new disease threatening lives. Swine Flu its here but is it a threat? Has there been a overreaction?


Swine flu is almost definitely a threat, try telling those in Mexico and the United States, that have lost family members to the disease, that it isn't a threat. So yes swine flu is threat but has there been a overreaction to it here in Australia.


In my opinion, yes, here in Australia people are worrying and preparing for the worst but there in no evidence as yet that anyone in Australia has contracted the disease. Now don't get me wrong the precautions taken at the airports around the world are not a overreaction that is something that does need to happen and it is very sad to hear that there now has been a deaths around the world and it is scary that there has been a death outside of Mexico and i do feel for that American family but here in Australia, apart from the airport precautions there as been a slight overreaction.


We do need to wait for those 128 Australians that have been tested to get back their results before making any panic decisions and once we have those results back then is the time to sit down and decide how to combat the problem.
